Is Your Rental Seismically Safe?

 

Berkeley SafeRenting is a web application for Berkeley residents to learn if they live in a building that has been deemed seismically unsound by the City of Berkeley’s Soft Story Program. With this web app, you can find where seismically unsound, or Soft Story buildings, are located in our city, and see if landlords have taken steps to retrofit said buildings. This app is also provided as a visualization tool for Berkeley residents to understand the where high concentrations of seismically unsound buildings are located in our city.

While Berkeley SafeRenting is based on public information provided by the City of Berkeley, it is independently provided by UC Berkeley ASUC Senator Klein Lieu and is not affiliated with the City of Berkeley.
